My name is Martin Lamb. I am a former U.K, British, European, and World Professional 10 Dance Champion. I am a Dual Licentiate with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and have been a proud Imperial member for 26 years, and currently hold a position on the Board of Trustees.

I am registered with the NDCA as a National and World Class judge, and licensed by the World Dance Council.  Being a Dance Board Member of the Fred Astaire Franchise for 15 years, and a former studio owner, gives me thorough knowledge and understanding of the business of ballroom dance in the USA.

I have been competing since I was 9 years old and have accomplished every possible title as a competitive dancer. Starting with holding 14 regional championships in the United Kingdom in 1986, and then going on to winning major championships in 9 European countries in 1987. That same year, I became United Kingdom Champion, World Cup Champion, and British Open Champion. I continued my success in 1988 by achieving the titles of Japan International Professional Latin Champion, and Asian Open Professional Latin Champion. In 1989 I became British Professional Open Rising Star Latin Champion. Between 1991-93 I was a three time undefeated United Kingdom Professional Ten Dance Champion, European Professional Ten Dance Champion, and World Professional Ten Dance Champion.

My abilities are wide spread across the board of dancing, being able to coach and judge on every level and in every style of dance. I produce great choreography as well as the highest standard of technique.

I have learned from the best, taught the best, judged the best and been the best throughout my 41 years of being in the ballroom dance world.

I have competed and taught all over the world at every level of dance.
